Trap Tech Pest Control is proud to offer a comprehensive mosquito and tick treatment service, removing this troublesome pest from your house, and keeping you and your pets safe. Mosquitos and ticks can prove irritating at any time of the year, but more so in summer when you’re just trying to enjoy the sunshine outside. Instead of getting bitten, why not consider calling us for a premium level of pest control in Massachusetts?
We typically perform mosquito and tick treatment once per month from April through to October to stay ahead of their typical breeding season. However, if you have an event coming up and prefer for your guests not to get bitten, just give our team a call before your event. Our highly-trained pest control team is dedicated to removing these problem pests.
Mosquitos are not only annoying, but they are also dangerous. They are responsible for more deaths than any other insect or animal, and because they feed off both animals and humans, can transmit a range of deadly diseases.
A bite from a mosquito should not be taken lightly. They can transmit malaria, Dengue fever, West-Nile virus, Encephalitis, and even Zika virus. While some of these viruses are not found here in the US, there are some that are. If you want to protect your family from both the inconvenience and the risk, get in touch with our pest control team.
From April through to October, mosquitos are in their prime. If mosquito and tick control is not done, then they linger over bodies of water, swamps, ponds, and anywhere where there’s water, moisture, and warmth. However, they can also hide in the shade, ready to attack an innocent passer-by.
What About Ticks?
If you have a weakened immune system, the bite of a tick can cause a reaction that lasts a lot longer than standard. If you begin to notice achy joints or flu-like symptoms that time in with when you were bitten, see a medical professional. While diseases can only be transmitted when the body and head of the tick are intact, precaution must be taken.
Ticks bite because they need nourishment to lay thousands of eggs. Many of these eggs will then hatch into more ticks, and before you know it, you’ve got an infestation on your hands.
There are many ways to remove ticks from yourself and your pets such as with tweezers, but you shouldn’t need to. If you get in touch with our pest control team to remove the problem, you can rest assured you’ll never have to look out for ticks in your home, on your body, or in the fur of your pets.
